      Plugin install paths, alternate formats, and optional Path B share (automatic Path B is preferred). Janus SFU is optional — Pion + TURN is the default production path.

      installing…

      Pro Tools → ASIO device str8dope-collab (Mic L/R). Logic / GarageBand → AU on Mac (npm run cable:install there).

      1. Once on this PC Run npm run cable:install — installs the plugin, bridge-watch, and a device secret so tokens renew without clicking anything in the browser.
      2. Add the VSTi (only DAW action) Rescan VST instruments → insert str8dope-collab on a track → arm / record-enable that track with monitor ON. Bridge, host claim, and Path B start automatically. Do not arm Windows mic / Realtek.
      3. Phone Scan the QR → Start session. Sing — levels move on the str8dope-collab track.
      4. Hear Play on phone Path B (WASAPI) is automatic via the bridge. Optional: Share window. Pro Tools: Playback Engine → str8dope-collab.

      Phone mic → plugin. DAW play → phone is automatic (Path B).

      Path B is automatic via the bridge (WASAPI / ASIO return). Optional fallback: Share window above, or ASIO Playback Engine = str8dope-collab.
